Eight-time GRAMMY winner Robert Plant has new music coming out next month, and just today he announced new 2018 tour dates.

Plant also teased a new track from his forthcoming album, Carry Fire, featuring Chrissie Hynde (formerly of the Pretenders).  "Bluebirds Over The Mountain" is an interpretation of a rock and roll song previous covered by the Beach Boys and Ritchie Valens. The song was first recorded in 1958 by Ersel Hickey.

Prior to releasing "Bluebirds Over The Mountain," Plant got a kick-start on promoting his new album by release the singles "The May Queen" and "Bones Of Saints." Carry Fire will drop on Oct. 13.

Plant's new tour will kick off on Feb. 9, 2018, in Raleigh, N.C., before coming to a close in early March at L.A.'s Orpheum Theatre.

Pre-sale tickets for the tour can be obtained now via Ticketmaster's new verified fan initiative.
