Thursday's co-headliners Five Finger Death Punch and Breaking Benjamin also co-headlined a 2018 stadium tour and released new albums last year, And Justice for None and Ember respectively. Friday headliners, Zombie and Manson, have both set the pace for creepy chills of musical joy and Manson's 2017 release Heaven Upside Down was critically acclaimed. Saturday's co-headliner Disturbed released Evolution in 2018 and Mastodon's latest is 2017's attention-grabbing Emperor of Sand, which was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 60th GRAMMY Awards and its track "Sultan's Curse" won Best Metal Performance.
Tickets for the three-day fest go on sale on Jan. 23 at the Rock USA website. Several packages are available affecting parking, camping, seating, and access to the pit. The festival's "Eat & Drink" page looks mouth-watering enough to deserve a visit in itself, including craft beer and cocktails.
