GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter Ryan Adams recently shared in a series of tweets his ambitious plan to release three albums in 2019, with the first titled Big Colors.
Keep in mind that this is something Adams has done in the past: He famously dropped three LPs in one year in 2005 (Cold Roses and Jacksonville City Nights with his backing band, The Cardinals, and 29).

Adams' first tweet teasing new music included a video clip of him working in the studio, where he is singing "the brightest colors always rising to the top." He hints this snippet is part of new music in the works, writing: "It's sounding f***ing epic. Here it comes... #BigColors."
Then, less than 30 minutes after sharing the video, he tweeted a picture from the studio with the message: "Remember that year when I released 3 records. Let's do it again."
After several hours of buzzworthy buildup on Adams’ Twitter feed yesterday, he shared another sweet reveal: the album cover for Big Colors.
Although he hasn't announced a release date, Capitol Records also tweeted out the album cover earlier today, seemingly confirming that Big Colors will indeed drop this year. As for the other two albums, we’ll just have to have patience.
