Shania Twain has signed on as a mentor for "The Launch," Big Machine Label Group founder Scott Borchetta's new Canadian TV singing competition series.

The five-time GRAMMY winner will bring her expertise as a mentor alongside fellow GRAMMY winners Fergie and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder. Shot in Toronto, the six-part series will focus on unsigned musicians vying to create an original hit song in two days. The show is set to debut in 2018.

Earlier in 2017, Twain joined NBC's "The Voice," sitting alongside the likes of Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani. The country superstar will drop a new studio album, Now, on Sept. 29. She's also penciled in tour dates for 2018.

The series is produced by Borchetta, Paul Franklin of Eureka and Bell Media, in partnership with Insight Productions.
