The biggest challenge for supergroups — or any group for that matter — is making the whole greater than the sum of its parts. Diplo, Sia, and Labrinth are up for the challenge, and their collaboration together as LSD feels fresh, infectious, and alive. The trio has released their second song in two weeks, "Audio," complete with a vibrant video fusing surreal animation and spirited choreography. Take a look and listen.

Last week, LSD dropped their first effort as a trio, "Genius," which Diplo described on Instagram as sounding like, "epic random amazing pop music from outer space." The song's animated video drove home the out-of-this-world vibe that is quickly becoming LSD's signature.
Directed by Ben Jones, the video for "Audio" follows Diplo around Los Angeles in a newly purchased used car while playing an LSD cassette tape found in the glove box, then traces the a young girl's walk home from school holding an animated Sia balloon into an empty parking lot where the dancing begins, all while a soulful Labrinth sings out his parts in a deserted tunnels and city streets.
GRAMMY nominees Sia and Labrinth have worked together in the past on the Wonder Woman soundtrack, and now with GRAMMY winner Diplo on board, LSD have an album in the works, according to NME, though no title or release date have been revealed.
