Metal is going out to sea this summer. Slipknot are bringing Anthrax, Sevendust, Behemoth and more to the Mediterranean for the inaugural Knotfest At Sea.
The ship will sail from Barcelona, Spain to Naples, Italy Aug.10–14. Other performers include Devildriver, Skindred, H099099, Higher Power, and Sleep Token. More acts will be announced, the fest website stated.
The cruise will feature over 40 performances, including two by Slipknot, Q&As, touring Barcelona and Napesl as well as other experiences.
The band's announcement continues Knotfest's destination concert tradition. In the past, Knotfest has been held in Mexico and France. An iteration will happen in Japan in March. Last summer, Slipknot took Knotfest on a tour across the country.
