GRAMMY-winning '90s rockers the Smashing Pumpkins and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have announced a joint summer tour that will feature hardcore punk band AFI. The bands will embark on performances through North American cities after the Pumpkins return from touring Europe. 

The tour will kick off on Aug. 8 on the East Coast in Camden, N.J., continue to the Midwest to cities including Tinley Park, Ill., before heading to the West Coast to Los Angeles and Mountain View, Calif. 

"Excited to announce The Smashing Pumpkins and @NoelGallagher’s High Flying Birds will be touring North America this summer with special guests @AFI," the Pumpkins tweeted.
