GRAMMY-winning producer Larry Klein's new project Same Sky brings together 23 artists from 17 countries to create an album that transcends cultures and symbolizes the power music has to unite. It will be the first volume of more to come.

The collaborative album was created over a span of 12 days and gathered musicians in France with the mission to create a global sound. Two songs, "Ma Ding Wo Avale One" and "El Clavel Del Aire," have been released; Same Sky will be available come Aug. 23.

Written by an American songwriter, "Ma Ding Wo Avale One" features Cameroon singer Dabielle Eog Makedah, while "El Clavel Del Aire" was written by a Tanzanian songwriter and features vocals from an Argentine singer/songwriter.

"I think that music has an extroadinary and very mysterious power. It's such a basic element for human beings. It completely obviates these sort of artificial boundaries that divide us like religion and nationality and geopgraphical place of origin," Klein said in a trailer documenting the project. "The metophorical implications of this project are amazing, really. It demonstartes the extroardinary power of music."

Prior to meeting in France, musicians from all over the world worked together to make demos via an online platform hosted by Beyond Music. The winnining 10 songs out of the 100 submitted were selected and the artists were flown to Europe to record.

The 2019 Producer Of The Year nominee. who oversaw and produced the album, called it "revolutionary" in a statement. The project is set to take place every year.
