EDM fans rejoice! Big-room house supergroup Swedish House Mafia is back. The trio, which consists of Swedish DJ/Producers Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, took to Twitter early on Nov. 28 to tell fans "We missed you guys," offering them the gift of four music festival shows in Europe in 2019.

On Nov. 26 the dance music world began to buzz, as U.K. summer festival Creamfields announced Swedish House Mafia as a headliner (and the only artist on the lineup so far.) The festival also confirmed that it would be the trio's only appearance in England in 2019. Now, two days later, the trio has added three more festivals to their 2019 tour schedule: Frequency in Austria, Stavernfestivalen in Norway and Tinderbox in Denmark. Earlier this month the group also announced several non-festival show dates, giving fans in Stockholm three chances to see them starting March 2, followed by one show in Mexico City on March 18.
Anticipation has been building since the trio's most recent performance together as the surprise headliner at Ultra Music Festival 2018, bringing their heavily-rumored dreams alive with their first show in 5 years. The group's last performance prior to that was at Ultra 2013, which closed out their One Last Tour dates and drawn-out breakup. The group first announced their split June 2012 shortly after their Coachella debut on the main stage and much to the dismay of the EDM community.

The dance music world couldn't seem to believe the group would be leaving them during the peak of their commercial success, with hopeful rumors about their reunion ever-continuing. The group did release one more hit single post-breakup, "Don't You Worry Child" on Sept. 14, 2012, which earned them their second GRAMMY nod for Best Dance Recording at the 55th GRAMMY Awards.

New Swedish House Mafia rumors have been gaining fuel since their performance at Ultra 2018, with fans hoping more of them, mainly new music and more tour dates, will come true. Now that the 2019 tour is starting to pan out, fans will patiently wait for possible new music. As reported by Billboard, the group stated in a press conference in October at Amsterdam Dance Event that new music and concert dates were indeed in the mix.
