The Recording Academy has been strengthening its resources in Washington, D.C., to fight for music creators. The common theme: "We're not gonna take it." From establishing performance rights on radio, to getting a fair rate standard for songwriters, to ensuring fast and accurate payments to producers, there are numerous updates that need to take place to current music legislation, many of which are addressed in the Fair Play Fair Pay Act.  

The Recording Academy has selected a powerful new version of Twisted Sister's hit single "We're Not Gonna Take It" by group leader Dee Snider as the official anthem in support of the Fair Play Fair Pay Act.
