57th GRAMMY nominee Childish Gambino recently participated in an installment of the GRAMMY Museum's Spotlight series. Before an intimate audience at the Museum's Clive Davis Theater, Childish Gambino performed a brief set, including his Best Rap Performance GRAMMY-nominated track "3005," which is featured on his GRAMMY-nominated album Because The Internet, and his latest single, "Sober."

The musical alias of comedy actor Donald Glover, Childish Gambino began as a solution to Glover's search for someone to rhyme over beats he was creating in his spare time. In 2008 Glover released his first mixtape as Childish Gambino, Sick Boi, and followed with subsequent mixtapes Pointdexter (2009), I Am Just A Rapper (2010), I Am Just A Rapper 2 (2010), and Culdesac (2010).

Childish Gambino landed a record deal with Glassnote Records and in 2011 released his major label debut, Camp, which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard 200. Released in 2013, his sophomore full-length release, Because The Internet, peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and earned two 57th GRAMMY nominations, including Best Rap Album, marking the first GRAMMY nominations of his career.

Aside from music, Glover previously appeared on the TV comedy series "Community," and has been slated to film a pilot episode of his new comedy series "Atlanta," which he will write, executive produce and star in.

Upcoming GRAMMY Museum events include An Evening With Walter Egan (Jan. 14), Inside The World Of A&R: Lenny Waronker And Tommy LiPuma (Jan. 15) and An Evening With Billy J. Kramer (Jan. 20).
