As a member of her family band, Jenkins performed at multiple folk festivals throughout her childhood, but gracing the stage at Newport Folk Festival remained a dream unfulfilled until 2022. “This has loomed very large in my life for as long as I can remember,” the singer/songwriter admits. “I was on stage really soaking it in.”
