At Lollapalooza 2015, the Chicago Chapter talked dance music with Linus Eklöw and Christian Karlsson of the EDM side-band Galantis. Defending himself first and foremost as a fan, "Dance music is the best thing in the world," said Karlsson. The duo each spend most of their time in Stockholm studios and that is where they met. Eklöw's background was producing remixes with pop crossover appeal as Style Of Eye. Karlsson, known as Bloodshy, also counts Miike Snow among his other bands. "Let's focus on the song," has been his sentiment, growing older as a consummately capable DJ and producer. "We write songs first on a piano or guitar and then we dress them up in House music," he explained. "It's not like we make a track and someone writes to the track, so I think that makes Galantis' sound a little bit different."
