Held on Thursday, Feb. 1, the third annual celebration honored the impactful careers of revered GRAMMY-winning artists Lenny Kravitz and Mariah Carey, who both received the Recording Academy Global Impact Award for their personal and professional achievements in the music industry. The event included a glitzy black carpet; jaw-dropping performances by Stevie Wonder, Quavo, Busta Rhymes, Davido, Andra Day, Babyface, George Clinton, Tori Kelly, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Mannie Fresh, Andrew Watt, Yolanda Adams, Erica Campbell, Gabby Simone, and Verdine White; and appearances by H.E.R and Chair of the Black Music Collective Rico Love. Adam Blackstone returned as the event’s music supervisor for the third consecutive year. Recording Academy Honors 2024 is sponsored by City National Bank as well as Amazon Music, which returned as a sponsor of the event for a third consecutive year.
