GRAMMY-winning progressive rock band YES have announced they will be launching The Royal Affair Tour on June 12 in Pennsylvania. With 21 studio albums and a lineup that will feature some of Britain's influential prog rock bands, the North American tour is set to be a massive celebration of British rock music.

The "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" band will tour with GRAMMY-nominated London band Asia, English vocalist and bassist John Lodge, as well as drummer Carl Palmer with vocalist Arthur Brown. The tour will launch in Bethlehem, Penn., stop by cities including Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Nashville and Las Vegas and close out in Saratoga, Calif.

YES, currently made up of Steve Howe (guitar), Alan White (drums), Geoff Downes (keyboard), Jon Davison (lead vocals) and Jay Schellen (drums), will perform songs from their long catalog and will honor late members Chris Squire and Peter Banks. White, who was John Lennon's drummer for his solo material, will pay tribute to the late iconic musician.

Howe is a founding member of Asia, so will also perform with both groups during the tour, along with Downes, who play keyboards in both bands.

"This is a unique celebration of the British contribution to classic rock over many decades. It will be inspirational to be a part of. And I know it is what John Wetton would have wanted," Downes said.
