Daniel J. Levitin

Daniel J. Levitin, Ph.D., is a 36-year member of the Grammy P&E wing, as well as a neuroscientist and author of, among other works, This Is Your Brain on Music. His writing appears in The New Yorker, The New York Times and The Atlantic. He is a former contributing editor to Billboard, and Professor of Music and Psychology at McGill University (Montreal) and Founding Dean of Arts & Humanities at the Minerva Schools at KGI (San Francisco).
