The largest-ever GRAMMYs on the Hill Advocacy Day took place in Washington, D.C., on April 14, 2010, with nearly 250 Recording Academy members participating. Addressing the group during the morning briefing was Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Kalpen Modi, associate director for the White House Office of Public Engagement. At the afternoon briefing participants were treated to a performance by Jypsi. More than 100 congressional offices were visited by The Recording Academy members present.
